Nice composition, with the "So it goes" up at the end of the smoke trail. The colors are also very Vonnegut.
Pulling random Vonnegut book off my shelf... Breakfast of Champions.
Finding random quotation... "The mechanical beetle was made by the Germans. The real beetle was made by the Creator of the Universe."

!!!
He's the best, Breakfast of Champions being one of my favorites. I always think back on 'When I die, I hope people say 'Kurt's In Heaven now. That's my favorite joke.'

Breakfast of Champions is one my favorites too. I recently tasked myself with re-reading the Vonnegut books I own, and maybe more, but I don't know if that's actually going to happen.

The most recent one I read was a collection of his short stories called Armageddon In Retrospect. It was really good, I thought, I love reading about his experiences in Dresden. Good luck!

This is amazing, great work! What media did you use? it looks like coffee or tea stains.
Just a hint but I would leave some areas of the face white as a highlight.

I used pen and watercolor, the watercolor was very last minute. You're right, it definitely needs more contrast, and it's gotten a little bit dirty over the years. But thanks a lot =]

Im pretty jealous of anyone who can manage watercolour. It hates me:[
Damn I hate it when that happens.

Oh, trust me, I try to stay away from the stuff. I don't know how some people do it. I'll stick to oil and acrylics, thanks. haha.
