Because of the ozziness of the shapes, like the thing on the left arm, and the wrinkles in the fabric from 'it' bending over, and, or course, the festival of chaos eminating from the head.
But cute works.

Hehehehe.. funny thing you noticed the patterns on his left arm. I made those because I actually drew some on myself a few days ago.. Walking around looking like a cheap dork with a "marker tattoo"..

oh thats really great. Well based on that i'd definately be intrigued if i saw a comic with artwork like that in it. I'd buy it.
I'm so SICK of all the same super hero crap you get in comic stores. I was looking thru the other day actually, trying to find issues of 'Bear' by Jamie Smart which I absolutely LOVE!! He's part of SLG Comics, which have some REALLY cool alternative comic styles in their range.
BUt anyway, I was looking for his comic, they didnt have any, so I was just looking for ANYthing that took my eye, anything a little different, but they were ALL shit.
SOme interesting cover art, but then you open it and it's the same ol' bog standard crap, jut like the rest. It was so disappointing.
So yes, I hope you do get to make your comic, as you have a unique style, and I think the comic world desperately needs more of that.

Yanno wut crappiest me the most out? Teen-Angry-Heroes.. Those insolent Beverly hills inspired comic books with heroes dealing with their social problems in ways only poo would interfere with a pavement. SPLAT* And how it's soo easy too see trough the motives of these comics, trying so hard to reach the youth, and the cash..... Noticed comic books today are only 60% comic.. 40% commercials...??
And ofcause me have the American censure.. How nipples are evil and forbidden, while a regular bloodbath is a fine message to send out to the kiddies... (I prey for the day they decide to blind babies when they breastfeed em...)
I hope to entertain and make people think.. they are in need of both... I know, I am...

And yeh, all the bloody adverts in comics is getting riDIculous. Comics aren't nearly long enough. If they insist on having so many then they should have more pages not reduce the length of them for f*ck sake!
