omgosh! golden era perfectly describes the old times ahhhh--- It's so much more quiet now? I feel like when I first joined DA, there was a lot more activity, and much more people eager to reach out--- I feel like some old geezer with how we've seen the ups and downs of this site-!
I think the same goes for me-- I haven't kept up with much contact with old DA users :s!

It seems most DA users are different nowa days. 

I was scrolling thru my old pics and looking at all the old comments...It made me really sad that all thats gone now..We were different people back then..
We started DA around the same time..This may sound Crazy but I actually remember when you first commented on one of my pics(i even remember what you said).. It was on page 49 of Jad,haha Omg Why do i remember that? I took that comic off of DA so long ago..

But yeah,I understand what you mean..I haven't kept up with my ol buddies either..In fact,I disappeared at on point...When i came back,almost everyone was gone..

I feel like I should try my best to keep in touch now.

it's a very good thing to be practising, keeping in touch with others and to keep a positive out look--- 
I have to say though, I think a lot of it had to do with the presence and popularity of manga/anime styled artists,
and how that seems to have been affected as of late (since 2007 almost!) there's such a stigma now! 

and omgosh! I remember that! I can't remember the comment, but heck yeah, I remember commenting on that piece!
