Me too ^^ I (as well as others) always pictured something running along them (when looking out the window from a car) and hoping from fence posts and stuff. I don't know if you've ever seen the second Fantastia but the earthy, flowery, spirit girl from the last cartoon is kind of what I pictured even though this started way before that movie ever came out XD

Oooh, yes, I love both "Fantasias" and definitely know that nature sprite! And that's so lovely, to imagine her flying along as you ride. I think I did something similar when I was little, with imaginary friends like the Lisa Frank unicorn and so forth. And nowadays I still do in certain ways--I'm not sure if I imagine one specific creature hopping along the whole time, but I'll squint at the trees as we drive past, and think about fairies or ewoks or the like living in them. Or I imagine what it would be like to be a crow or some other bird, and be able to fly all through them, or over the open farm fields around here... sometimes I truly wish I could do that, just be a bird for a day and explore all the land and abandoned farmhouses and such that I don't have permission to as a human.

Thanks so much--yes, it really was a peaceful drive, back out through the country. This place we had to drive to was a ranch a far ways out from any town, and I loved all the forest we go to see.

You are welcome! Driving in the countryside is always fun I think. Especially if there are lots of trees there. Forest sounds like a really great place to see on the way!

Oh wow, really? This was actually a pretty far-away place from a park... we had to drive through a gravel road most of the way, where barely anyone lived, to get to this ranch-place where the wedding was....
