Although Teddy is awfully perceptive. My headcanon is that Loid actually wanted to take a break, he was sick of fighting and was like, "Hell yeah, take my place, I'm going home!" But, some time later, Loid regrets leaving his friends and decides to come back to help them. He decides to steal that tank again and drive it up Mount Itoi to meet them, but unfortunately finds them getting their asses kicked and saves the day in a stroke of good timing.

I think Teddy was a pretty cool character. He is much different than most of the Mother series party members.

Yeah he is. He's pretty under appreciated. He's got a lot of development to him that the other characters don't have.

Well, my tablet is a piece of poo and my art program is from the 90's (but it works pretty okay) and for some reason doesn't always obey the commands I give it (such as varying line width and opacity, which is probably something to be blamed on the tablet).
So, I can't say I do much but make lines. I'm not much of a digital artist.

I'm not either. Honestly, I want to learn Blender because it has to do with frames and building, not lines and brushes. Maybe it will be easier for me.

I wouldn't take it as 100% canon, either. At lot of people work on creating games and the books that go with them, this info could just be the ideas of the people who wrote the encyclopedia, not necessarily Itoi himself or any other writers that may have been involved. That's one of the issues with teamwork: the original vision may get changed, for better or for worse, whether the creator likes the changes or not.
There was actually an episode of Family Guy like that; Brian tries to create a dramatic TV-show, but there's so much interference that the show ends up being a cheesy comedy that's nothing like his original vision. He and everyone else were very disappointed.
That's one of the reasons I hate working in teams... sorry about my rant.
