Moved from old account, originally done on May 21 2010. Photostudy, used grid to sketch, SAI to color, and I actually believed this was good art
And I spent FIVE DAYS on a photo study *shot*I also spent half an hour removing friggin huge watermarks from my old photo studies--imagine someone being stupid enough to think an image you could google would get stolen...

this was sai too? excellent, particularly her hair and clothing (i don't think a grid is cheating, i don't personally grid... but mainly because that takes extra effort haha) damn incredible shading (on all the account-move pieces, and your newer work)

you're welcome! i'm trying the demo of sai (if i can get used to it i'll look into buying a copy soonly) haven't tried blending in it yet tho, i look forward to it!
mac would be nice. i've setup macs for ppl, but have only worked on windows and linux on my personal machines. maybe there's a mac in my future too

Apple makes me pay for my updates. Β I bought the computer, I shouldn't have to pay for the OS updates! Β Or the IOS updates especially, since iOS should definitely be included in the $500 iphone cost O_O

hmm you mean from leopard to snow leopard to lion etc.?
(i have always seen those as new releases, like xp, vista, 7 to 8)
they have general security updates too, those are free 
(unless you have a really old iphone, price of a new one to get the latest n' greatest right?)

I can't update safari, which is really killing my web experience so now I use firefox HAHAHA loopholes. Β But I really do need to pay for that.
Well I know I had an ipad and I had to pay for an iOS update which was like 5 dollars I think but I'm cheap and was mad and once I paid for it I think they made it free shortly after.

do you have an intel or powerpc mac?
if you're powerpc, mozilla doesn't update for it anymore...
(mozilla recommends adopting an intel mac to be safe)
but if you have firefox on an intel mac, you should be good
5$ ain't a big deal, but free is better
fortunately windows 8.1 will be a free overhaul of windows 8.
(i hope i don't jinx myself by saying that)
