It came the time for Naruto to sing his first song to the audience: he closed his eyes and his mind instinctively went back to the day he wrote that song. Thanks to it he was discovered by the producer of his Record label.

FLASHBACK

The end-semester exams were dangerously approaching, and our poor Naruto, because of his passion for music and other distractions (one overall: Sasuke Uchiha) haven't even opened a single school book, except for a quick glance. What could our adorable blonde do, then? Bingo! Ask the Uchiha for help.
So, after thousand of pleadings from Naruto and equally numerous curses from the other, there they were, seated, one evening, in an empty classroom, studying.
Sasuke was explaining, Naruto trying to focus. For the blonde, those rare moment he shared with the other boy, were so very precious, but he couldn't be relaxed. Every moment they spent together felt to Naruto like even if their bodies were close, they hearts weren't close enough and this made him feel gloomy. There's nothing worse than to feel lonely alongside the person you love.
Naruto suffered from his unrequited love, but he forced himself not to think about it and to focus on what he had to study.
"It's no use…" whispered Naruto after two hours of study.
"Come again?" asked Sasuke, abruptly rising his head from the history book.
"I won't ever make it! Too many things to study and too little time!"
"Wrong. You had the time, Naruto, it's just that you haven't done a single fucking thing. What prevented you from studying? It's think it's fair for me to know that, since I'm the one helping you all the times and, I would like to point out, all the times."
Naruto couldn't just say: "You know, I lose my time writing songs for a damn etero as you are, and who could never, ever correspond my love." So he made up an excuse.
"You know I'm easily distracted and I often lose my concentration."
Sasuke sighed: " Yeah, I know."
Naruto lowered his gaze again over the paper Sasuke has prepared some summing-up schemes for history, and attempted to memorize all he had studied until then, following the logic pattern written on the paper.
Sasuke was silently watching Naruto's efforts.
"Oi, dobe." The dark-haired addressed him.
"What do you want? You think it's the right time to interrupt me, now that I'm damn well trying to remember something?"
"Sorry, it's just that…" and a long silence followed.
"That…?"
"You'll make it, Naruto, as usual, because you believe in yourself and you never give up. Because you are stubborn, and might I add, a pain in the ass. You always ask me for help, but I think you can do it by yourself perfectly fine. You don't need my help."
"But you are helping me Sasuke! You know it very well. I always ask you for help because you are the only one I really trust and I'd entrust all to, if I had the chance." Naruto didn't continue the sentence, he could only think: "How much I would like to entrust you all my self, body and heart."
Sasuke opened his eyes wide at that, surprised: it was the first time Naruto spoke to him in such a honest way, and that sentence…No, it was impossible, told himself the boy. He shook his head, preventing some thoughts to rise more than needed and saying. "If you say so."
The blonde was keeping staring at him like nothing happened, like what he said was absolutely normal and obvious. The Uchiha grabbed the back of his head and turned it to the paper. "Come on, you lazy ass. The sooner you start, the sooner you finish." Said the boy, smirking.
That very same evening, at home, after dinner, Naruto closed himself in his bedroom and opened his song-notebook and started to write down what he thought.
"I believe in you… I believe… Believe… Confide… CONFIDE IN ME!!"  enthusiastically said the boy.  "Yeah, this is perfect." And nodded eagerly, while he wrote down the other words.
"Ehy, dear old notebook, can you keep a secret?" asked  Naruto at some point, feeling slightly silly for that.
"I'm falling in love with Sasuke more and more…Can you keep a secret… Secret…Secret…I got it!" and started writing again, with more heat than before.
Two days later the song was completed and with it, also the first guitar arrangements. Naruto decided to film himself while he was singing and playing the guitar: he put the camera in front of him, and started the performance.
After he finished, he edited the whole thing and he uploaded the video on his facebook profile, just to get some opinions; while he logged in his page, he thanked God Sasuke didn't have an account on that social network.
He pushed the 'upload' button, and in some minutes, his song was online.

In a residential neighbourhood in Tokyo, that same evening.

"Reira, turn off that computer and go to bed!" exclaimed a man sat on the sofa to his daughter, who was in front of the said computer.
"Just a moment, daddy! I'm watching a video of a song. It's from a friend of mine on facebook. He's pretty good you know? Here, listen!" the girl put her headphones off and turned off the computer's stereo.
His dad, hearing a hot and sensual voice, was silent, surprised: he got on his feet and reached his daughter in front of the computer. On the screen, he saw an handsome guy (impossible not to use that adjective in front of Naruto Uzumaki, especially if you saw him for the first time) who was singing amazingly and was also playing the guitar.
"Reira, where's your friend from?" asked the dad.
"Wait, I'm checking on his profile…Let me see…Here it is! Uzumaki Naruto, Konoha."
"Perfect,  tag me adding this video so I'll have the link ready for the office tomorrow"
"You wanna show it to your boss?" asked the girl, surprised.
"Yes"  nodded the father.
The man was Nobuo Tanaka, 50 years old, record producer for the SONY RECORDS.
That same evening, Naruto found Reira's comment on facebook:
"Incredible, Naruto! You found your first fan and you'll likely have a surprise, shortly! ^A^"

END FLASHBACK

Naruto smiled at the memory of Reira's comment, he opened his eyes and started to sing: his evening, was just started.
