I like the focusing on this, but it could be moved a bit to the right to see the 'eye' a bit better. I like the colours and the simplisic background as well.

It was tricky... I wanted the macro-feeling.. but I wanted as much of the feather in the focus as possible as well... but thanks soooooooo much for commenting!

It's quite intriguing how you've captured it in a portrait format. I think it helps in conveying the depth and impact of this photo.
The focusing is brilliant and the contrast between colours really makes this piece stand out.
