Description Hi there,
This is another concept for "CrowsΒ΄ Parliament", a little view of the portuary zone of the victorian-steampunk-surrealistic Steam Town. The human character is a scientist specialiced in fairys, in fact, the strange teapot-purse wich he is carrying is some kind of steampunk-fairy-trap.
This one is very close to the final style I wanted for the project, I hope you like it.
Done in Photoshop CS3 with a Wacom Cintiq 12WX.

Genius piece! The way you made the foreground figures stand out is amazing! Hardly seen anything like that before. And the details, the story, you've conveyed so well, and the humour - they all come together to make a real feast for the eyes and a joy for the soul.

I'm loving the crow's hat and the chicken which just laid an egg on man's head! This is so original! It also makes me think of the cities in Fritz Lang's "Metropolis" and Shaun Tan's "The Arrival."
