So! It has come to this! XD It's fanart time!

I watched Hazbin Hotel on prime and I enjoyed it a LOT! I honestly didn't expect to love it as much as I did, but here we are! I'm usually not a fan of adult cartoons, but Viv did it in a way that made me really like it.

Husk is simultaneously my favorite character and my least favorite design of the cast xD I've disliked his design since the pilot, but there was definitely improvement after the redesign. Still, I wanted to try my hand at redesigning him, and it was WAY more fun than i expected. Tried my hand at Vivz style too, it was easier than i thought it would be.

For the greys I went with a bluer base (plus some fun shading with blue in the inner wings) because all the backgrounds in Hazbin have a lot of red, so I figured that oughta help him stand out a lil more. That, and simplifications such as removing those gosh darn ugly heards ontop of his eyebrows (really! Who thought that was a good idea?!), removing the stripes on eyebrows, and all those lil dots on his wings. I get where they were going with that design choice but I personally am not a fan of it. I also made his cheap booze green colored to help it stand out/add more color diversity.

I really like the designs in hazbin personally, but think that they could use a lil more color variety to help them stand out a little more.

Honestly? I still think he's ugly, but drawing him made him grow on me so much... he may be an ugly ass cat, but he is MY ugly ass cat >:0

(I know this show and its fanbase is controvertial so please keep comments pertaining to the art or the show. I'd rather avoid baseless hate over a piece of media I enjoyed.)
