I live in boots, I live Australia and have worn boots all year round even into mid Janurary (summer, we get 38 degrees celsius days) these reminds me of my 'beloved black boots' as my friend put it. Well done!

Thanks for the feature! why are there big red circles with "X" on them over a number of the pictures there? is that a DA thing? good luck with your contest!

could be my internet security program, sometimes it's a bit overzealous, but I have never seen that before.

I want to see the glass castings of these boots you mentioned.

lol... they are really heavy and in storage somewhere, but they look like a dirty relief sculpture of the boots that is vaguely transparent. they were cast in a CO2 set sand mold (hence the "dirty" appearance). i never figured out how to present the casting, so they are just siting around in a box.

I love this - every crease in those boots, their flopped-over position, makes them sort of sad and soft-looking, something you just know would feel awesome to walk around in.
(They're reminding me of Van Gogh's Shoes... mm.)

The painting is ... reality. I love the blue, brown, and colour you've used on the boots to highlight. Wonderful contrast and a sense of I'm going home in these boots with the letter and the wallpaper in the b/g. It's like a note to the family.

This is really great. They have such a sad feeling to it. I like the way the text flattens the space.

Damn, but those are some finely painted boots. I'm quite jealous. I know "Advanced Critique is Encouraged" but I just canβt think of anything bad to say about them. Congrats on being added to the UA page.
