Toriel has no armatures or support structures of any kind. She's filled with pillow stuffing, and I purposely left her body soft and fuzzy for maximum huggability. I spent two hours just on her face, and I think the results were definitely worth it. I consider this to be the best work I've ever done.And, of course, right after I finished it they announced official Toriel plush dolls coming out in a few months. C'est la vie!
Sans I did earlier while watching a stream, and I couldn't quite decide whether or not he was supposed to be wearing a white shirt or just letting his ribcage hang out. Eventually I settled on one. Here's an earlier pic with the shirt: i.imgur.com/gNXgq8Hm.jpg

The truth is, I was never happy with how my Steven Universe gems ended up out of scale once I got to the fusions, so I decided to start with Sans and make him as small as possible, because he was the smallest character I planned to make. Then I got to Toriel next and I realised that I wanted to make her soft and huggable, and you can't do that with a six inch doll, so scale went out the window immediately.
I really do need to remake Sans one of these days. When I get around to Papyrus, I'll do them both together.
