We're actually pretty close to finishing the judging! I can't give an exact date, but we're just trying to decide on a winner for 1 or 2 of the designs

The auction is closed now I'm afraid - bids had to be submitted before midnight GMT on May 1st

*sighs * As much as I would love to try for #6 I'm afraid I must admit defeat. I am just too busy to focus on something worth entering for him. That and I have my 3 I gotta finish drawings for. Good luck to those fighting for him.

Just to be sure, do the literature stories have to have them as their age now, or can it be a story from the future?

If the art drawing has to show them around the age they are at, is that the same for the literature one?

I have a question about Kestrel x3 When she gets older, what would her horn color be?

Horsepoint In reply to DarkVampireRider [2015-04-16 20:26:29 +0000 UTC]
Looking through existing designs, I think horns are usually the colour of the mane/tail hair. However, there are the odd few exceptions that I can see, so don't quote me on that!

If we want to use one of our own characters for one of the parents how do we know if they can produce that fawn? I'm not good with genetics and phenotype and stuff.

You could ask people - I mean I'm happy to take a look if you tell me which of your fawnlings it is and which baby c:
Otherwise there's Tigress's geno generator which calculates all the marking possibilities of two parents - you could put yours in parent 1 and dick about with parent 2 until you get a result that matches the baby you want c: It's only fawnling markings though, not the rest of the coat colour.

Sure!
Sorry, no dice >: The badger baby would need both parents to at least carry smoky fawn (fws) and partially restricted (rz)- not to mention flaxen (f). Zmey only has classic fawn to give. Sorry!

Looking through your living fawnlings folder, it doesn't look like any of them can do it >: Unless it was a different person's fawnling you had in mind?

I totally know the feeling - aren't they all wonderful? o3o But bear in mind they've said this:
Can I bid on more than one design?
Yes you can! In fact, you can bid on as many as you like. However, you are most likely to only win one of your bids and we would rather encourage everyone to focus on a favourite and/or single bid, rather than make several bids in a hurry and miss out on details and valuable character potential

true but if you put your heart into all the bids then you're more likely to get one, especially if you love them all <3

So for the literature, do we have to write a story with them in it, or create their info? Or both?
