Unsurprisingly, I REALLY liked her movie. And you did a great job here.

YOu're very welcome.
Hope the Justice League movie is as good as her solo one.

The ideal would be for it to be better. Wonder Woman was an entertaining film, but ultimately a flawed one as well. It failed to be intersectional, its villains were poorly written (not to mention that one of them was whitewashed), and maleness was centered in a way that was inappropriate for her character. Its final act was also a mess that missed the mark in many ways. All of these shortcomings are well-documented of course.
It's still early to tell what the reception towards Justice League will be, though many are bracing for a bad or middling reviews. We'll see.

Those are good points, but, as you said, many people are facing for 'bad' or 'middling', while WW got mostly positive ones.

Yes, from mostly white, cishet critics. Queer folks and POC were more critical of the film.

Good old Wondie! The female presence of the DC Trinity, with the better story of revival from the dead easily beyond the overrated Death of Superman arc, a mythological archetype holding power in our still painfully masculine age of imbalance where things are still far from equal, and the awesome demigod of DC Comics who can take out Marvel Comics Thor without taking an appreciable damage from his "dwarf" star material hammer! Let's face it! Princess Diana of the city of Themiscyra of the Paradiso Isle is the best there is!
Nice job modernizing her so close to Wonder Woman Day! 👍

Thanks.
As an aside, Wonder Woman's death and resurrection occurred within John Byrne's God awful trash run on Wonder Woman, so I'm not about to qualify it as being "better" than anything. We need to ignore all of Byrne's work on her. It's just all bad and highlights the problem of how DC hires folks who have no business writing her.

I guess you and I both have our arcs we really don't appreciate when it comes to authors of comic books. You don't like John Byrne with Wonder Woman, and I despise Geoff Johns whenever he touches Batman! But who do you like when they write the material and which are your favorite arcs?

Yup. I can't understand why anyone would think what the hatchet job Byrne did on Wonder Woman was any good. It's his fault that Donna's origins became the butt of every joke and also his fault that Diana was retconned out of being the first Wonder Woman. He had so little respect for the character and George Perez. It also doesn't help that Byrne is so well-known for being a jerk and hell to work with. But I digress.
When it comes to Wonder Woman? Honestly, the holy trinity of Wonder Woman creators are Gerorge Perez, Phil Jimenez, and Greg Rucka. Gail Simone's run had a lot of great elements and it's enjoyable, but she was stuck with a couple of messy arcs that preceded her run. That left her with having to continue on with subpar elements. I have an outdated two-part blog post listing the best Wonder Woman stories if you're interested.

Wait, the Greg Rucka?! The Mastermind behind Batman No Man's Land and all of those other brilliant stories at DCU! Oh I've got to read what he did with the Princess of the Amazons! The other two names are not strangers to me either! Please send me the link to this so-called blog! I would be delighted to look some of these up!

While he did indeed write the novelization, Greg Rucka was not singularly responsible for No Man's Land. It was a collaborative effort of over a dozen writers and artists, which included homophobe Chuck Dixon and Devin K. Grayson (who is problematic as well for the usage of racial slurs and controversial storylines in Nightwing).
Rucka is well known within the industry for crafting stories featuring well-written women. As far as the Bat books were concerned, he was primarily responsible for shaping Huntress and Renee Monotoya. He was also behind the reintroduction of Batwoman. In fact, Gotham Central (of which Renee was one of the stars) and the brief Batwoman-led Detective Comics earned him awards. Mind you, Ed Brubaker co-wrote Gotham Central with him. But I digress. Outside of his creator owned works, what has earned him the most acclaim as a writer (sans another co-writer) was his work on Wonder Woman. That's all my long-winded way of saying, I'm surprised to hear someone is unaware of his Wonder Woman work. Especially since his Rebirth work was so highly publicized. Unless, of course, I read that wrong and it was just your way of privileging his work on the Bat books.
I should hope George Perez isn't a stranger to you. He's a legend. Phil Jimenez has had a prolific career as well. He's a total sweetheart and is undeniably THE Wonder Woman expert. As for Gail Simone, I don't think enough is said about how meaningful a lot of her work has been.
Anyway, onto the links! I should preface them by saying that the Azzarello material wouldn't appear in my list were I to redo it now. Though I enjoyed the beginning of his run at the time, re-examination of it changed my opinion. I would instead place The Legend of Wonder Woman by Rene De Liz in its place.
