Ilyana loves to meet other birds, tending to come off as very abrasive and intense and can be a bit dense in social situations. She also has a bad habit of exaggerating things and omitting details she doesn't think are necessary when she converses. This makes her appear ditzy and airheaded at first. Despite all this, she is a relatively well-meaning person who doesnt mean harm and is devoted to her friends. After getting one gets closer to her, Ilyana calms down somewhat and shows more of her emotional side. She wouldn't hesitate to give a smile or a happy hug to a close one. Her abundance of feelings, however, means she can become very sad (and rarely, angry) when a realization sinks in.

To some peoples' surprise, she works diligently when assigned work or given a task to do.
  biography ;
As a middle child growing up under a couple of carefree robins in a secluded wood somewhere in America, Ilyana learned to become self-dependent at an early age. While her siblings were doted on, Ilyana quietly took what she could and studied intensely in her classes at the small schoolhouse a few trees down. As a child she became enamored with fairytales and how exciting they seemed to be. Ilyana began writing her own fantastical stories down and decided she wanted some excitement in her life as well. Life in the sleepy forest was peaceful and she loved her home, but they weren't like those tales of dragons and journeys she held close to her.

Soon she was striking up conversations with her classmates and siblings, roping them into weird adventures like looking under dead trees and checking out mysterious crevices and caves. Her classmates quickly became exasperated with her antics and her siblings sighed with every "expedition", but she didn't notice. One day she was confused when those she thought to be her friends avoided her. For the first time, Ilyana doubted herself, and after a short cry in the bathroom mentally composed herself. After that she was still the loud bird she was before, but occasionally she has bouts of self-awareness and tones it down.

Close to the end of her middle school years she overheard a mention of a distinguished high school in Japan called St. Pigeonations for the brightest birds, and her eyes lit up with interest. A new country and all kinds of birds to meet... it was more than she could imagine, and she set her eyes on getting into this school and marking a new chapter for herself.
