Indeed, I had the same thing in mind while drawing it!
Originally I dreamed of uniting the whole crew as well as some supporting and non-canonical characters (like Miyu!) on one big picture, with the Great Fox flying above, but I totally lost track of time and so, on the very last day before the deadline, I just tried to focus on the heart of (Star) Fox and keep it simple. I'm glad you noticed it anyway

hahaha Ive been a HUGE fan of starfox and i know every single bit of the story XDDD and i have my favorite things and my least favorite :3 and one thing i really like is the feelings of fox with the death of james XD being able to carry on as a leader and still remembering him as his dad is trully one of the best things in starfox!!!! and i loved this pic because of that!!!!
