I believe that the fireflies have a magic that can recall innocence of a person.About a month ago, I had a chance to experience that. Standing among a group of fireflies, watching the flicker of light moving around me. It was hard to see the fireflies in the city anyway. But the area I visited was quite damp.
However, I just need an excuse to draw a CATS fanart and the scenery with fireflies. Here's the result.
I know I messed it up but I won't call it 'failed'. It is 'experimental'!
Any suggestion? Feel free to tell me.

This is beyond gorgeous! I love fire flies, and I love how beautiful and glowy they are. <3 Demeter is stunning as well. She looks so happy and peaceful, which is a total contrast to what most protray her as.

but i suggest you dim the whole atmosphere it would be better, since i think glowing fireflies in an almost pitch black surroundings look more spectacular :3

I adore the wonderful shading on her face where the firefly is closest, you've managed to pull that off spectacularly! I wouldn't call this close to failed at all, it's beautiful.
