I've been playing SO much Tenkaichi 2 on the Wii that Dragonball Z has once again invaded my brain. This turned into a much bigger, more time-consuming picture than I'd planned
, but I'm chuffed as hell with the end result. I was unsure whether to cel-shade or paint in Vegeta, and I may still experiment with that later (I've been staring at it for three days straight now and I need to stare at something else for a bit!!!!) , but for now... TAA-DAAAA!

Nice background. I like the contrast between them, though perhaps it needs something to unite them a little? I dunno what though. Maybe that rear hand should be a little out of focus or there should be some splash over the top.

I absolutely adore this picture! For two reasons: Vegeta is my fav character and that background is so delicious.
The only thing that bugs me is that vegeta doesn't have as much detail as the background. I hope you do experiment much more! I wish I had the patience for backgrounds like this.

Wow! This is just amazing! Just the shading on Vegeta alone are out of this world, and to be able to make such a well made soft background must have taken quite a bits of works.
