Description A bunch of people from the LoM community on Livejournal got together and wrote a series of fics for the holiday challenge at 1973FlashFic, and I was asked to draw a little picture to go with each . They're just little things, not really properly finished, but I thought I'd post them here anyway.

As before, I'm hesitant to link the stories directly on here- a couple of them contain slashy elements. So if you want the fic links, just ask in a comment or note and I'll provide them.

Some of them probably need a bit of an explanation, so here we go!

1. Young!Gene and his brother Stu on holiday in the 40's.

2. Sam and Gene at a swimmin' pooooool.

3. The original Sam and Gene bump into the US!Sam and Gene while on holiday in America.

4. Sam, Gene, a bottle of wine and a hotel. AHEM. XD

5. Sam in his early 20's during his trip to Mexico (by himself. Awwwwwww).

6. Gene bumps into younger!Sam on holiday in Blackpool. A donkey ride ensues.

Love the originality of your work, you're always creating new and interesting ways to look at LoM and I wish UK!Sam!Gene WOULD run into US!Sam!Gene so the UK double could kick the US guys asses. I hate the American version, it's just so.... wrong

I thought all of these illustrations were brill. I haven't had the time to go through the entire story yet (because I have the attention span of a goldfish) but it just all looked rather fun. But I did get a chance to skim through the dirty whore bit. LOVE. That and poor lonely Sam almost getting molested by a cook. I will never look at chicken + mango the same way again.

I think my favourite is the UK vs US Because I could totally tell it was Jason O'Marra getting his ass wooped without having to read it. And he deserves it )8<

Aww thankyou They're 6 little seperate stories, but they do all sort of fit together in a way The dirty whore bit was brilliant XD. I felt so sorry for poor Sam all by himself in Mexico! I'd always assumed he'd gone with family before Chemekke wrote the fic, but now I'm sure he had to go on his own. Poor baby! XD I'm so going to have to come up with a veggie version of that chicken/mango thing too

HAHA I remember you expressing your dislike for him before XD Don't worry- in that picture I'm sure Sam and Gene'd do their famous synchronised punch right in his log-like face.

Thanks! XD They were drawn a lot quicker than usual (I am a big fat snail, ususally, I swear! XD) BARFIIIIIGHT! (The UK versions would so kick the US versions arses)

I love the scrolling down past the cute kids walking barefoot, then the relaxing swimming pool with the cool blues and sunshine to the 'argh, I'm going to smash you with this chair!!1' panel.

My fav is Mexico Sam, though I can't pinpoint why. Probably because I want to hug him and buy him a sombrero for him to reject

Ooh, random thought, does Sam have the St Christopher in the real world? (great, have found excuse to watch more LoM )

Hahaha I didn't put much thought into the order of these, but I'm glad it turned out that way XD

Awwwwww. Yeah, poor future!Sam. He's lonely, but he doesn't know who for yet (And you're right- he'd probably reject the sombrero, unless he used it to shield his embarrassment)

Oh, I don't know actually! That's an interesting thought. Future!Sam was always in that suit, wasn't he? Very 'part of the system', so I reckon he probably wouldn't have worn anything round his neck under the suit...? I'd imagine it was a 1973 thing, but I could be wrong XD
