Textures = lovely. By the way, a mite of a quicker way is just to ink it on the watercolor paper first. Or, scan the inked drawing and PRINT onto watercolor paper.

Yeah... I hate sketching on the watercolor paper, though, because I do a lot of erasing. My drawings take forever because I never know what I want. lol
I've never tried printing onto watercolor paper - my printer is finicky, so I'm worried it might jam. I've heard of people doing that, though... but the ink isn't waterproof, so I'm not sure how that would work.
Thank you for the suggestions, though. I need to not be so anal in my process. lol

Well, personally I print it super light. Like a grey sketch. This doesn't leave enough ink to run too much, and you can always very lightly spray it with workable fixative if you wanna.
I do the same, but generally that isn't too bad if you sketch lightly.
