First of all, thank you to my boyfriend, Phil, for helping me with this piece. A few simple lines on the preliminary sketch changed my idea about what I would create and I'm very, very pleased about the results.
I sketched this in pencil, inked it, transfered to watercolor paper, inked again, then painted it. Probably a total of 5 hours.
The scanner, of course, destroyed some of the quality (despite scanning at 600).. but this will have to suffice.

Another bookmark design.
Now I'm thinking of doing an element theme. Red Dragon would be fire, this one water... am now working on a very strange looking dryad for earth.
