That’s me in Aug 1968 riding up mount Beehive. The hotel needed to haul supplies up to the Lookout & the cowboy they hired needed someone from the staff who could ride & he got me, the Chateau Lake Louise, Room Service Elevator operator.  That is Lake Louse & the Victoria Glacier at 20’ thick down to the lake. Now in 2023 the hotel is open all yr round & you wouldn’t see the glacier. It has receded that much.
