Ambrosia Apple is a romantic through-and-through. She loves love, and works as a relationship counselor to help struggling couples preserve that love. Most problems, Ambrosia has found, have solutions, it just requires patience and determination. She has a good intuition about what a happy relationship should be like, and the ponies who visit her often leave with their bond the strongest it's ever been. As easy as it is to give advice to others, though, Ambrosia is rather clueless when it comes to finding a special somepony for herself, as she tends to see the best in people and ignore a lot of red flags. As Ambrosia has gone through bad relationship after bad relationship, her hope for her own special somepony has been gradually dwindling. One day, she hopes to be able to put her special somepony's picture in her locket, but it remains empty for now. Big Mac and Starlight both assure her that the right pony will come along when she's ready, but her hope for herself is pretty shaky.
