About
First of all, this is for and her contest based off of the song, Born this Way by Lady Gaga.

There are a few things about this manipulation. First of all, they are unicorns which is born different than regular equine species but they are still comfortable in their own skin. I chose to tackle the issue of racism that the song addresses. I wholeheartedly believe that racism should not exist and it really sickens me when I see it so much in the world around me. As you can see, I have two unicorns, one white, one black. Both are the SAME species. Both are beautiful but both are different. They can embrace these differences and know that they are equal because they are <3

The owl baby is a different species but perfectly content to walk along like a horse and even though he acts different than the rest of his species, he is okay with that because he was "born that way" Plus he's just adorable.

I apologize for the rediculous size, I love working on big canvases especially when there's a ton of painting to do. I drew the horns and the tails from scratch, no references. The pen tool is amazing -bows down to it's awesome power- I think that's all for technical P: Tons of hair...but then again, I was in a painting mood xD
