I saw the emotes you had in the description before the picture had finished loading. I didn't understand why they were there since the picture looked so sweet in the thumbnail version, but then I scrolled up and had the same reaction.

Oh, boys, how can you be so sweet yet heartbreaking at the same time ;-; ?

Um, and I know that this is probably totally not what you were meaning to portray, but this is the symbolic feeling I got from it:
It seemed like it could symbolize what the romantic relationship between Alan and Maxim in the version where Alan is still married to Fanny. Alan has an expression on his face of complete bliss, not even noticing that he's been wounded. It suggests that he's too "blinded" by the love that he's in to realize the injuries it will cause him. Maxim, on the other hand is crying with his hand touching the rose. So he know what this relationship will do Alan and that it will be love that will inflict the wound since a red rose is a universal symbol for true love.

...
..........
................................. You made me cry.
Seriously

How do you manage that? I'm amazed beyond words D: I think you incorporated everything I wanted to portray with this picture in one single period, it's... it's... like brilliant DDDDD: Apart from your ability in moving me with your description, wich is so damn accurate ;__;
Yes, this is Alan still married to Fanny. Yes, he's blinded and stupid and masochist and... oh, so in love. And Maxim knows that, but he's even more masochist, or a coward, because he can't let go. And the red rose. THE RED ROSE, PRECISELY ;_________; *weeps like a crybaby*

O___________________O
Oh, dear, I didn't mean to do that!
*hugs forever*

I wrote that thinking that I wouldn't get anywhere close to the true meaning so I feel a tiny bit proud of myself. Still, I feel like sometimes its the tragic romances that we love the most. I can't really explain why, but maybe its because they're moments together are made all the more tender by the knowledge that they'll have to be so short? Romeo and Juliet is still very popular today, after all. But the fact that these boys can break my heart then mend it all up again, full of warmth, makes them a brilliant pairing.

And I just realized that you drew another piece where Maxim is throwing a red rose off of a boat O.O (Accidental symbology!)

*hugs forever back*

It's not you, dear, well, I mean, not just you ;____________________;

And you were wrong D:< And... feel proud <3
Also, you're so right. Their moment are even more special and precious because they won't last forever, it's simply impossible. And well, Romeo and Juliet <3 After all, Alan and Maxim story it's quite similar (sorry, Will XD) they "kill each other" with their love, although in a different way. And "But the fact that these boys can break my heart then mend it all up again, full of warmth, makes them a brilliant pairing." OMG it makes me so ridicously happy ;______;

And the rose, apart from being a universal true love symbol, is also a recurrent element in they whole story. Roses remind Maxim of Alan ;_;

I think I know what you mean there...but hugs shall still be distributed :]

Yes, Captain*salutes* <3 !
I think Will must be use to it by now XD Alan and Juliet can be compared to Alan and Maxim in the sense that the romance of both couples faces huge opposition (for Will's lovers its their families, for the boys its the time period and Alan's marriage). Plus both wind up doing a sort of mutual killing Romeo and Juliet literally and the boys fugitively. And I'm glad that line made you so happy :3

And that just unleashed a whole load of ideas for how to link roses with scenes for the boys X//D

... and I'm grateful for that <333333333

Yay! >:]
Aw, the poor thing XD And you're right D: Impossible love are alway the best kind of love, in some way, they hurt but we can't help diggin' them T_T
Aaaand, yes your line made me that happy, precisely <33333

IF YOU HAVE ANY >>>>8DDDDD

Yay! Hugs are my specialty, after all <3

I just realized just how many lovers with that kind of romance are my favorites, although most of them are historical XD
Yay! <333

Well there are kind of two that really stick out in my mind, although one of them is sad and the other sweet:
1) The sad one comes with either Alan or Maxim (although I have Maxim in my head) coming to their lover's funeral to place a red rose on the grave.
2) The sweet one, though, is Maxim leaving a surprise red rose for Alan to find either as a surprise gift or as a secret sign of his love if it's the world where Alan is with Fanny.

And even if it might come a little late, is there anything you would like for Christmas? My drawing skills are nowhere near yours, but I can always try to write something! Especially since you gave me the most wonderful birthday gift ever <3

Oh, they are <333333

Well, the historical factor is an awesome surplus 8DDDDD

... THE FIRST ONE MAKES ME CRY FOREVER DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD:
I mean. It's something always popped in my mind as well, and it's a recurrent element in our stories ;___;
But the second <333333333333333333333333333 A surprise gift left on the other side of the bed, the morning after, this red rose resting on the pillow <3 But the secret sign of love is intriguing too DDD: Like, during a dinner, they both wear a rose as flagship DDD: (just like the Wildian green carnation xDD)

... OH DEAR <33333 I'd feel rather profiteerish asking you something and taking advantage of your wonderful writing x///D I'd love that, though <3 So, if it's not a bother for you, you can always take inspiration from one of your favourite pieces of mine and try writing something :3 So that I can illustrate it <3
I already planned to dedicate my next Christmas piece to you, but if you'll write somehting, I'll know what to do <3333333333

I know, right XD ? *gestures helplessly at the Tudor era*

I had the same reaction when it popped into my head D:
But all the ideas right there just made me squee/arm flail :3

It's not profiteerish so much as inspiring, especially if the idea can come from one of your pieces <3
This comment combined with the surprise favorite has left a near permanent grin on my face now <3333
