Sorry for my bad english but... The reason of the Hun raids wasn't the plundering. So many research happened around Attila and the Hun nation, actually they wasn't that savage barbarians what the "modern" historicals say. Actually, the Huns was the cleanest people of their age, and open minded, and they really hates the corruptions. A very lot of great roman officer want to join to the Hun's horde... I think everybody know, Rome was full with corrupt politics, and the Huns show a great example to them. So the reason of the raids, wasn't the plundering, the medieval codex books talk about the richness of the Huns and Hungarian, they wasn't need plundering.
