Description
I present Kino, Altitude's pet and faithful companion. Well, sort of. When Alt needs a shoulder or just a friend, Kino is there. When she trips on a supposed spot in the sidewalk or it doesn't just rain, it pours, Kino's usually at fault. So she's a grace as well as a curse, but Alt would be lost without her.

My characters really aren't representative. They just pop out of my pencil, 9 times out of 10, something I first saw in my head or was tipped off by something around me. But Kino's different, and probably more representative of myself than Altitude. Kino is 35% House Cat, 30% Dolphin, 20% Crow and 15% Dragon. Without going too indepth on my own personal brand of theology, I'll say this: I am an athiest. The whole idea of a higher being, that came up with everything around me just makes no sense to me. While the Big Bang and evolution make perfect sense. Anyway, this said, I also think reincarnation is a big possibility. Einstein himself said that energy cannot go away or dissapear, it merely changes form. And in physics, electricity and all other forms, this is true. Anyway, this is where the Dolphin, Cat and Crow come from. I have this intense affinity for water, especially the ocean and I absolutely love Dolphins and believe they don't get the credit for their intelligence and sentience that they deserve. I sleep all the time and am quite flexable. And I shop like a crow flies. I see something that perks my interest and zoom off in a beeline to the object, like a crow to a shiney piece of tin foil. And you either have to follow me or wait for me to return, which I do, sooner or later. The dragons I've just always loved. Her name, Kino, is the german word for the movies or the cinema. I love old German Film Noir, and have other connections to Germany, but I especially love their old films from the 30's, The Cabinet of Dr. Kaligari is my all time favorite. Plus, Kino is just a fun word and makes for a cool name. So, here's the basic background for Kino, and why she appears the way she does. She's my favorite character second only to Altitude. You rarely see them apart, in some shape, form or another. Most of her info about her appearance is on the sheet, so I reccomend full view, I squooshed it all on there forgetting about this description box here.
