This shot was originally not going to be used. It is from a series of calibration shots I took a few weeks back.

But upon seeing the shot in my files again, I suddenly saw it's potential. I toyed with the idea of leaving it in color but, desaturated photos are always more striking, so I went that route instead.

It reminded me of a classic shot of Greta Garbo I saw a while back. While it's not an exact duplicate of that old Greta shot, it DOES take inspiration from it. (wish I had a link to it)

I love classic photography.
