Description
...from wandering through Eryn Lasgalen. Also an Elf needs a break from time to time to daydream.
Myself as my LARP character, Finarfel. Costume designed and sown by myself. The belt is embroidered by hand.

Good heavens, that is the smoothest "ear makeup" I have ever seen. Magnificient! What's the secret? (Except for those ears being Finarfel's real ones, of course - my intention is not to call up bad emotions, or question!).

The trick is: these are my real ears...Hahahaha! *cough*
No, of course not... I only mixed my daily makeup and some powder, repainted the curves of the latex ear with a pinkish-red lip liner and added some rouge where my ears would blush naturally... And somehow it worked out. I have a very light skin tone and it seems they wanted to blend in.
BUT (!) I admit freely, that in this particular picture the rim of the ear was smoothened with photoshop (not the colour). You can see it in the other pictures.

Sometimes one must remove those rounded plastic ear tips and let the points show through, that is simply the way of it
Ah, a lip liner! That is a brilliant idea! It looks fantastic either way and as for photoshop, bah, it's a tool, and having used it just makes this photo look even better. It's not cheating at all, it's just a tool used to good effect!
