Description
A sugar cookie recipe just in time for the holidays
3/4 cup butter softened
3/4 cup margarine
1 1/2 cups sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp syrup of choice (I used elderflower cordial)
1/4 cup milk
2 eggs
4 cups flour (and more to roll the dough)
1 tbsp baking powder

Cream together butter, margarine, and sugar then whisk in vanilla, milk, and 2 eggs. Sift in flour by 1/2 cup and baking powder then knead and roll out dough (I use a sieve to sprinkle flour on-top so it doesn’t clump). Cut out cookies in shape of choice.
Preheat oven to 375°F and bake for 10 minutes
