Funny. 131 million was the same amount I got to as well before things got hard to work with.

Nice sculpt
I've gotten the same poly count results when pushing the system. I've heard it has been able to handle up to 500mil polys, with a lot of time, extra memory in USB slots and other tricks. Great app, so easy to learn.

Will you continue to use Mudbox, or jump back to Zbrush?

wow...500mils..i guess its need more than 40GB ram. LOL
Well, me myself might gonna use both. ( since i bought ZB & i got 3yrs free education mudbox license LOL)
Both of them got their own strengths~!

You don't have to have 40gb RAM. You can make USB memory sticks act like extra memory (although not as fast).
There is also an option in Mudbox to make more accurate subdividing (or something), which requires more memory, turn that off and you'll get some more juice out of your memory. Close everything else, and push it to the limits. He who did it (Wayne Robson, Mudbox Guru) has just as much memory as we have.

I agree they both have their strengths, I love the interface in Mudbox, it's just so easy to use, and no clutter. The ZB interface and weird ways of doing things always kicks me in the face when I try to learn it. ZB have a better sculpting engine though, in a way that the polys act and feels more like clay.
