Gwen Jones is the girlfriend/fiance of Iron Man aka Robert Stark. She grew up in a dysfunctional home, her mother was a drunk and was jealous of her, however she always had the love and support of her father. Rob and Gwen met at college, they had some classes together. Robb was immediately enchanted by her beauty and personality, he kept asking her out, no after no, after no. Gwen played hard to get, she knew what type of man Rob was and is.

He tried so much, that she gave up and accepted his offer, she gave him a chance of proving her wrong. The date went surprisingly great, Gwen got to know a totally different Robert Stark, he was better than she thought.

They started dating and that relation lasted for a good 3 years. She graduated in Marketing and Business as the top of her class. Dating Rob Stark has its perks, she received a job at Stark Industries in the marketing department. Robert was still madly in love with Gwen and so was she. He went to talk to her father and ask for his daughter's hand in marriage before official proposing.

Gwen went on a work trip for Stark Industries to Germany. On her way back home the jet were she went, was intercepted by some air pirates. The pirates were quick recognized as H.Y.D.R.A agents. They attacked and killed some passengers in the jet. They kidnapped Gwen and made her a hostage.

At the same moment, Rob was standing in the top of Empire state building ready to pop the question, he had sent a text to Gwen to meet him there when she landed, however he did't get a response. He received a call that said that the Stark Industries jet (the one where Gwen was in) crashed in the middle of the Atlantic. He just...collapsed...

Gwen was presumed dead...Rob got really depressed, little did he know that she was actually alive and in the hands of HYDRA.

HYDRA tortured her and mind-washed her to be a double agent. She was made captive for a lot of time, with no one looking for her, she became so traumatized she succumbed into madness...
