Dear goddess... this took me... AGES. I started it the first day I threw up my poll actually, asking if I should do winter arts with my premature tree. >_>;;;
Do I feel as though it was worth it? Yes. I've learned SO MUCH while struggling with this piece, and I really truly hope that the sweet likes it!
I'd like to thank and both for providing crits throughout the entire process from colours to highlights to saying I have too much snow, or I need to stop saturating everything to a massive degree! Also... for distracting me when I felt near to crying when something wasn't turning out JUST SO!
AND! Because this is by far my most 'detailed' of things I've done computer art wise, I'd really like to ask whomever sees this picture to provide crits!

Hello, and a pleasure to see something featuring a blood elf that doesn't have lust or pure sexuality as it's theme. Unfortunately, I am not a premium member, and thus cannot access the Critique feature, but I will make a detailed comment and hope you get a chance to read it. First off, I am not an artist, I am a writer, so this is purely a non-professional comment. That being said, I have four things that jumped out at me as needing a little work. First, the hand holding the candlestick. Having viewed your inspirational piece for the pose, I can see that the hand of the model does have a slightly foreshortened appearance, but the elf's hand has an almost paw-like appearance. Maybe a little extension of the pointer finger would correct that, since the model's index finger obscures her middle finger, where your elf's middle finger over extends a bit. Second, the hand pressed to her chest. Take a look at the middle finger at the second knuckle. It appears broken, since it goes off at an angle that appears unnatural. The entire finger appears to be rotated slightly, as if it were twisted in it's socket. Third, the candle light striking her face is well done, but ends a bit abruptly at her chin, giving it a very sharp angularity. Maybe ease the outer line just a little? Last issue is her midriff area. Even in the deep shadow, there should be just a hint of a belly button with her midriff bare like that. It would definitely be exposed in that dress.
Now that all of that is out of the way, excellent over-all. I would not have noticed any flaws if I had not been looking especially hard.

Thank you very much for the well thought out and explained crits! The hand I'd noticed myself, but try as I might.. Well, I just gave up after a while and holed that the massive shading would hide my lacking xD
The hand on the chest... I honestly hadn't even noticed T_T So again, thank you for pointing that out! Perhaps when i'm not as burnt out I'll try and fix it~
And finally... the bellybutton.
I facepalmed at this. I cannot believe I'd forget it! That too will pop up sometime in the future... I hope xD
