Description Australia:
An open beach, further most south of the Gold Coast Qld

Sadly this is one of the beaches that has taken a pounding from the rough seas and violent weather S.E. Queensland has been experiencing this past third week of May..

Thanks Rebecca.. Sad that after all that rain we had last week 1/3 of our Annual Rainfall, us with 300 mm and 600mm in other places this and other beaches along the SE Qld Coast have disappeared into the ocean, lots are cliffs of sand now where to get to the water its 3 mts-10 feet below where it used to be..

It takes pretty violent weather to change landscapes so you must be having some wilds storms.

Yes they were terrible Rebecca so many houses have been flooded in SE Queensland and the Northern River NSW, I lost a lot of plants and a few smaller trees and weeping standard Bougainvillea but we are ok so is the house so thats the main thing...

Is this fairly normal for this time of year in your area or more of the crazy weather the world in general seems to be getting?

I can't complain too much because we haven't been having weather disasters but this is the second spring in a row that just doesn't want to arrive. We are still only getting to mid-teens with none of the hot days that usually pop up by now and it also rains a lot.

Tony was telling me, he was watching the TV show Sunrise today they had the bulldozers leveling off the sand so people could get to the beach I would have thought they would try to push a lot of that sand back
