Oh Hadrian White is just a cool calming colour for me, the plants are getting taller now and I have to get the ladder out to take pics of the coloured ones.

Lots of Hibiscus out at present but cannot get a good pic in the sun and they close up late in the afternoon

I'm sorry but that sounds really funny somehow! Also I can imagine that the plants are growing like mad at the moment.

Oh, I know! Sometimes the sun is just too bright. Maybe you could try making shade on the flowers while photographing them?

No problem Rebecca I was out taking a few pics before and kept getting that dreaded ERR 99 about the battery I put in a fresh battery it did not make any difference I will look into it later, thankfully I still have the 20D..

More pretty flowers coming up..

No luck getting the 40D working again, I have done everything Canon told me to do years ago with the 20D and more as lots of info on line.. Took the battery, CF Card and Lens out overnight too..

Got the 20D out this morning puts everything in it and got the CF error message so formatted it only had 13MB on it popped it back in and now that's working but for how long I wonder. Looks like I will have to ring Canon again and another long nightmare trip on the M1 Hwy which is bumper to bumper at this time of the year then at least four weeks wait for it to be fixed could be more as its Summer here..

Me too as I think it will be a while before I even get that 40D to Canon..
I would be lost without a camera
