Justice asked/prompted me to do this piece for cover art of an upcoming fic he has in the works a while back.ΒHonestly, all he had to say was: "Sunset and Celestia throw books at one another." and I was halfway through the first rough sketches in minutes... ... aand then it promptly took me another three-to-four-ish months to finish it because of who I am as a person. Sorry, you crackfic bastard! It wasn't on purpose!

It's funny, I was in this competitive book club in junior high called Battle of the Books, and this was always the sort of image that came to mind.
I love this picture, and I can't wait to see how the fic will turn out. Β Justice's stuff is always so funny.

o: I've always found it a little strange Sunset decided to just adjust to being a completely different creature and leave behind everything she knew of her old world so easily, though, Celestia aside. Like, psychologically it should have some kind of impact on her.
