I've had the underwater cave for a while, but for some reason I never snapped to using it without the water plane. After seeing this, however, I immediately knocked out my Princess and Dragon render A PRINCESS DELIVERED (NSFW cybersox13.deviantart.com/art/… ) using the same inner illumination trick that you used here. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, right?

First class artwork and subject. Ship is very realistic depiction of a super strong (triple deck) ship of the line such as Admiral Nelson's HMS Victory. However, ship almost certainly draws too much water to get that close to a beach. Also, I assume it is a Royal Navy (UK) vessel. Pirates always used much smaller and faster ships.

Good call. That model is the HMS Victory from DAZ3D, and I think you make a good point about the keel, though the balance and composition of the image would have been affected had I placed it in deeper water. Let's assume there's a fissure under the surface. Thanks for the comment.
