Description had some moral trouble doing this one b/c of what the original concept was based off of and the fact i didnt think it was right to keep things as similar they were, but it was fun to do in the end.

Original sketch by by the lead artist of Blobbies Wars. Sketch was -based- off of the monkey island game? I think.

i love the sky and water but i absolutely HATE the little huts and buildings i couldnt make them look any better though.

EDIT: okay wtf? DA is being weird. i uploaded completely the wrong file? atleast n MY end. It was showing the wrong file to me an the right one to other ppl so i deleted it and i'm trying again

That would completely depend on specific details of the commission . (ie size of the image, amount of detail, etc). Since Japan is a real place and not a pretend island with giant huts on it i'd need to know exactly what you mean :3. Feel free to send me a note and we can talk if you'd like.

I didn't at the time. The pixel peice was done as an assignment off of a sketch someone -else- made. That someone else seems to have taken a lot more inspiration from the game than was probably right, yeah. However you comming in months later and pointing fingers like many other people have done doesnt really help lol :/. You're not the only one to have pointed out the origins of the design to me.
