Another piece for Stobez. I wanted to get a Sin City feel to this, but with a bit more colour. The rain took some time for me to be happy with it. Quite some time. The model is from my own stock.Stocks

Awesome shot. I agree that it does have the nature of Sin City, but it also has the feel of a well detailed oil painting. This work is rather unusual coming from you, especially considering the unusual nature of most of your work.
The rain and the lighting really set the gritty mood of the piece, and are arguably the best part. The detail on the buildings, though you shadowed most of them, is very appealing in themselves, and I loved the added touch of the neon sign in the background. (its good in that if this was featured in a magazine etc, you could change out the lettering for a product placement $$$) I love the lighting on the guy as he really fits well in the work. Great job again man...

Yeah it's the first one like it for me, at the moment I'm just enjoying finding a style and dipping my fingers in a bunch of pies so anything that comes out is pretty organic. But I wanted to be specific with this one, aim for a style and hit it so I'm really glad you think I did. Thanks again pal!

absolutely adore this piece. the whole thing is fantastic. My favorite part? the water bouncing off his hat and shoulder.., WOW. Definately a Sin City feel. FAVE!
