Thank you very much. Yeah, the thought was to the focus fall on the foreground, then slowly lead the eye to the tree in the middle, framed in by all kinds and forms of snow from all sides

It all looks so fluffy and soft. I want to play in the snow now!
If you want to put more focus on the tree you might try narrowing your DoF so that everything around the tree looks a little blurry. You did a good job of framing the little guy, but the heavy snowy area at the bottom grabs a lot of attention away from it. You need a little more obvious place for the eye to rest, in my opinion.
The feeling of the photo really sucks you in. Good luck with the contest. ^_^v
