Description This was taken at the Botanic Gardens on a shoot with =Blade707 . I'm pretty proud of this because it is completely unedited apart from the image size and boader. I took it with the 350D and 75-300mm lens. I hope you like it.

I agree that it looks a bit blurry, but only the top half, the bottom bit is actually better focused

You should get your eyes checked out, for blurred vision though, not for not being able to spot beautiful things to photograph, that bit's more than fine.

Lovely.

hmmm... damn its nice but full view its quite blurry, there's not really focus on the photograph.

great colour amongst the black i must say.

Looks focused to me?

cmorrell In reply to fishyfishyfishy [2005-10-17 18:48:59 +0000 UTC]

Just guessing, but blade is talking about the relatively minimal depth of field you have in the photo ... the focus area is quite small due mainly to being only f/5. As you shot at 1/500th sec, I would have dropped that to about 1/60th (minimum you want to try handholding at) and used an aperature 3 stops higher as a result, giving you much more in focus.

Of course, I may be wrong...

Yeah i know, but i was using my 75-300mm lends at the time and couldn't be bothered changing so a slower shutter speed would have shown heaps of camera shake. laziness doesn't pay off i guess. We were on a tight schedual
