Description
THE 2ND BATCH OF ACES & NINES SPORTS PHOTOSHOOT IS HERE
(Yep, Wrestling reference)
This render was somewhat a tough one because I couldn't decide on where to place the lamps for the lighting because I couldn't get the exact placement of the shadows that I wanted for a while, but most importantly the pose because I couldn't decide on it. I know what I wanted, but there was many ways to do it, and I didn't know which would look the best... That wassss until I saw a photo of Sabrina Nicole doing the exact same thing with the bat, and when I saw that it went from one decision making time to another, which if you read my descriptions, you know damn well I suck at . Once I tried it, I honestly had a sequence where I didn't like it... And that again, was another decision making moment .
FIRST TIME ANGLE (OR SOMETHING):
This was actually my first time creating a render where I show off le ass. I've done quite an amount of swimsuit renders since last year (2021 to be exact), but they've all been Helena's front or side, and never the back. I've had some planned during the summer of this year but.... I got lazy so none of that ever came to fruition... But I won't talk about that, not until I make it happen... (Which I'm not sure if I can)
Le Ass:
So the challenge for me was to show off le ass while having the bat make it look better. And believe it or not, most of the time spent on this render was on le ass lmao. Toying with the scales, toying with the adjustment bones to make it look like the bat was lifting le cheeks. And with lack of references (that I never knew I had because the references were buried under a lot of other references), resulting in a lack of understanding of how it should work, it took a loooooong while before I could say I was satisfied with the look of le ass.
I'm tired of saying "I tried", but I tried to make the edge of the cheeks drop on the bat, looked too awkward. Tried to make it more "shapely" (or more circle or something), but the pantsu is not allowing the results to show well enough with the camera angle (which was also a task to come up with, but a smaller task). So I think I just decided I'll work with the latter, with a little bit of the first option and a just leave it at that. Part of it was also because I got tired of playing with the adjustment bones .
DIFFICULTIES:
Given that the emphasis was on le ass, camera angle was important in making this work. A camera angle lower than the first render of Nines was used for this one, I considered the same angle as Nines but didn't look good. A little higher was considered but how the hell would Helena look up to the camera with an angle like that, I wouldn't know. Speaking of looking up to the camera, that was another difficulty; Making sure the camera was at the right range for Helena to stare into, otherwise it would've looked too unrealistic to have the iris be way too far past the corner of her eye.
The lighting position as I already mentioned was a challenge because of the question "where do I want to shadows to be?", even the edge lighting position was a challenge that I spent a significant amount of time on. Given that I've never done this type of angle before, doing the pose was something that took time. It was a pose that I see a lot of female fanservice content creators (on IG & Twitter) who believe they have nice asses do, and I didn't think it'd be a challenge to follow the pose. I honestly thought it'd be a cakewalk, but I damn near changed my mind and did a different pose instead . Now I didn't exactly copy the pose, I did make some changes to it because I had to consider the inclusion of the baseball bat as well as how she's gonna hold that thing. I lowkey look back at this one and say "I'm just happy it's done" lol .
FINAL THOUGHTS:
It was aight... I think I can safely say I did what I could given the circumstances. Might've looked better if the pantsu wasn't like that, but it is what it is... This I can confirm tho, If ya'll think this ain't it. Wait 'til you see the "Portrait" version of this render. Same pose, but I think that one did this pose justice which is why I'm not really feeling down about this one despite the challenges . Like I said in "Aces", Aces II is gonna have a different pose and even that posed challenges of it's own. Which one looks better than other, I'll pick the latter but that's just me. Ya'll might think differently.
