Actually that's pretty simple, maybe a short explanation odf how to already does the thing, otherwise I can make a tutorial.
Firts make te line for the coil (don't 'apply' the circle with the follow me tool).
now, I used the radial bending tool from the Fredo scale tools ([link] ).
Here I bendend the raw line as it seemed fit.
Then I used the scaling tool to widen or shorten sinle loops of the coil, again as it seemed realistic..
In the end apply the circle with the follow me tool.
