BROKEN DOWNWell this was a very old piece, Bout a month. Till early yesterday it didnt even occour to me that I would be submitting this. ~Jester-MX and I were talkin bout some C4D techniques and I tried adding certain aspects of it into what I was working on. But it didn't actualy work out well. I accidentay opened this file and I was like oh hmm, lets just try! VOILA! 1 day later and this is my result! So thanks to ~Jester-MX for his accidental help

For something that is "Broken Down", it surely looks built up the right way, flows well and the 3D containment is very consistent with the overall appeal and compositioning. I like this allot, and quite diverse in its delivery. Very good. Fav'd., Flamix!

Firstly, I don't know anything about this technique but I think you've pulled this out really nice. The purple hues of the formation work very well with the background shot and though the formation and the background are very different they still go together.
The formation, I like it. It's interesting to investigate it and wreck my mind with the question what it is. First I thought about flowers, maybe partly because the title brought the movie "Broken flowers" to my mind. And then about feathers or more likely a whole bird. How it has crashed, been shot or just simply crashed. And it fell down. There's certain sad beauty in that.

And I'm agree with brandonc1 : I believe you could make it even better if you use the same light direction for your 3D's shadow as seen on the texture (progressive and from top-left).

im liking the shapes and forms here. some i would take out etc. but like. the render colors and shit dont flow with the bg. maybe its not even that. maybe i feel the render fdeosnt flow with the bg. you need some sense of light ohmie. shadows. etc.. would enhance the piece overall. diggin` the render though :]

well yea thanks, i was gna do something totaly different with it but ended up making it worse then saw that stock so i jsut decided to slap it on

Ive been trying to use cinema 4d for bstrat renders but i get the same old peice of crap.
