Emily closed the door to her room cautiously, twisting the knob while closing it so the door wouldn't make much noise. When she untwisted the knob and let go, she walked to her computer and typed quickly into the YouTube search bar- "Caramelldansen" then clicked enter. The results came up and Emily clicked on the first one, then hurried to the center of the room before the song came on. She raised her hands up to her temples as the song began, swaying her hips to the beat. She moved her fingers straight down as her long brown hair swayed with her body. 'I love this song' she thought happily as she continued to dance along.

Alex unlocked the front door of the house and entered. "Hey, Em? I'm home" she called out, but to no answer. She shrugged and assumed that her wife was napping. Alex walked into the computer room to check her e-mail. She quickly scrolled through her inbox, tucking things that seemed important into the nooks of her memory.

Alex walked out of the computer room and into the bathroom. She opened the door and flipped on the light switch. She stood in front of the mirror and removed her ear rings, placing them on the counter. The house seemed quiet… Alex wondered if Emily was even home. Then she heard a thumping- a loud thumping, to add. As she listened closer and realized that it was coming from upstairs. She raised and eyebrow and turned the light off again, exiting the bathroom.

She walked up the stairs, the thumping getting louder with each step. As she got closer, she started to hear faint lyrics. When Alex got to the top of the stairs, she looked around for the source of the noise, finding out that the source was coming from her and Emily's room. She approached the wooden door and grabbed the handle. She opened it to see Emily dancing to the music, the song playing being On Top of the World by Imagine Dragons.

The brunette had heard the blonde enter and turned to the door, blue eyes locking with green eyes. "Emily..? What are you doing?" Alex asked with laughter obvious in her voice.

"I-I got bored" said the other woman with a smile. The Dutch woman smiled back and walked closer to her partner.

"May I have this dance?" She asked as she held out her hand. Emily smiled and took the hand, pulling Alex close to her. Alex laughed as her and her wife spun around the room, enjoying the music.

Alex let go of Emily's waist, still having a hold on her hand.

Emily spun and kept spinning until she was in Alex's arms, giggling uncontrollably. Alex kissed Emily's cheek sweetly as the song continued on.
