ok so this is an idea i have for the story ratchets got shot with the growth ray, but someone else shot him making his mind and body go ferral and here he's trying to keep himself together and not hurt scarlet whos worried about him.....

i yawned as ratchet laid down next to me resting his head on his clawed hand and letting me lean against him,
i looked up to his face and saw that only one of his tired eyes were open the emerald green that once made me smile, was now dark and struggling as the pupil was now slited
"ratchet?" i asked concerned as i leant back against his fur and torn shirt
"scar...." he replied though his voice was gruff and harsh not to mention a little louder due to his size
"you ok?"
"i will be, but promise me something scar" he stated as he sighed
i nodded and looked at his eyes not looking at the fangs that now filled his mouth
"i dont know how long i can keep my mind like this, or how long til my mind goes beastial, but once i do i dont want to hurt you"
"i know you wont" i interupted but he carried on
"if i do lose my mind i want you to run ok? just take clank and run"
i looked down sadly.... i didnt want to leave him but he had a point so after a few minuetes i nodded holding back the tears but i couldnt look him in the eye
ratchet held me closer as his breathing slowed to indicate him falling asleep, but i could make out a faint purring before hesitantly falling asleep myself
