Well, they didn't even have a category in body art for piercings, so I put it in tattoos (close enough for me). My corset was taken out about two months ago now, but I plan on getting it done again once I find someone to do it an have the money. I miss it :'(Related content

Depends on the jewelry, how well it's done, how well you care for it, and a bunch of other factors I suppose. It's not really a permanent piercing, I only had mine in for like a month, and even that is longer than most keep them. It's just due to the fact that it's a surface piercing and it's location that it's not a practical long-term piercing. I want to get side ones done anyway though, haahaa ^_^

Heehee, thank you love ^_^ A friend of mine did it for me in his living room, actually, but he's a piercer. Not sure his whereabouts now, he's either in Racine or Chicago. But it was SO much fun! I don't have it anymore, it's a bitch for healing for long-term wear, but I plan to get one on each of my sides and I might be modeling for someone and if she can find someone I will get another one in my back just for the photo shoot

It didn't hurt as bad as I thought it was going to, only at one point where the jewelry slipped out of the needle and they tried to shove the jewelry through unguided. That sucked a bit >_< But otherwise it wasn't too bad.
I wish I could help you get one, as they are SO much fun to get, but I don't know anywhere that does them, I don't even know if my friend has done any besides mine really.
And the gig is going to be in the winter sometime but I'm not going to have a corset done, as I don't think she found anyone to do it. Should be a good one none-the-less, she's got some good ideas. But she wants to do another one in the summer so maybe we can find someone by then!

Thank you hun ^_^ It was free, believe it or not, in exchange for being a guinea pig for my piercer friend who wanted to try doing a corset. So I don't really know how much they cost... It was pretty sweet to have, it's a shame I had to take it out, but I would do it all again, and might end up getting another one for a photo shoot if a piercer who will do corsets can be found. As for pain, it really wasn't too bad.

They aren't meant to be permanent, and I ended up taking mine out after a month or so. Of I would have gotten the right jewelry, and if it were straight, I would have been able to keep it. Hopefully next time I will have better luck

I heard that over time the rings pull out when it's laced all the time? Is that true or was it true for you?

Unfortunately, I took it out too soon to find out
But yes, surface piercings do indeed migrate over time, especially if they are rings, and much faster if they are laced corsets. That's why the next time I get corsets done, I'm going to get nylon barbells with ringed balls at each end. It will still migrate, but at a much slower pace.

When I had it, yes, I just unlaced it so that it wouldn't pull in my sleep. It kind of sucked because I couldn't sleep on my back, and when I tried to cover myself, the blanket would always rub against it, but I got used to it.
