Actually; I think this is very well done. Excellent use of lighting. Contrast works. Even with the use of blacks, you don't lose the figure in the background. Coposition works well. I like the way the body is off to the left of center and yet having the head and shoulders in the middle makes up for that nicely. And the use the the hair as a prop especially up in the top of the picture works very well. The only "negative" or question I have would be if the face was supposed to have such a hard edge with some of the features? But, other than that, I really like this.
