Beautiful interplay of light and texture. I love the muted color scheme, the contrast of vertical and horizontal focus, and the clarity of the forefront against the hazy depth given by the distance. The light seems to reflect off of all surfaces while not overpowering the complexity of elements in an otherwise simple scene. The simplicity of the scene itself is what gives beauty to the light, the shadow, etc., that each seem to draw a life of their own from the interdependence of the other qualities that make this such an exceptionally riveting piece.

Very nice watercolour, looks photographic from the icon. The main focal point with the tree boarderline really draws in ones attention. And the reflections and lighting create a fantastic ambient surrounding.
