The first ‘series’ of pieces I want to post here are my versions of the mane 6/ the mane 6 in my style! First up is Rainbow Dash!

For my version of RD, I shortened her hair (cos short hair RD just makes Sense), and gave her a nose bandaid n a few notches in her ear, just cos I thought she’d prob get hurt a lot while doing flying stunts. I also changed her cutie mark slightly to wrap around her leg just cos I thought it would look cool! Anddd a heart on her hoof as a nod to G3 xx

I also love incorporating real life horse qualities to mlp ponies, so I gave her a face marking! For some of the other mane 6, I have specific breeds of horses in mind I want to reference their body types or markings off of. For Rainbow, while I didn’t specifically reference any particular breed, I def had racehorses in mind when drawing her 🥺💙
