At first I thought your character was an anoa. I didn't know there was a smaller orange subspecies of African buffalo. (Why isn't it classified as its own species?)

That's quite interesting! anoa are really cool-looking and also super cute
But yes! African forest buffalo, probably one of my most favorite bovines XD I love their beautiful red coats, their fox-like socks, their halo-shaped horns, and their ears so much!
